Cold-eyes audits
We pull up your store with fresh eyes, mobile and desktop, and document what's bleeding revenue. Broken pages, friction at checkout, hidden upsell slots, performance hits, accessibility gaps.
Skrio is a small Shopify CRO and dev shop. We audit your store, find the actual bugs and friction costing you sales, and either fix them ourselves or hand the list to your team. No slide decks, no jargon, no recurring retainer pressure.
See what we catchWe don't sell a "growth platform" or a "retention engine." We audit, we test, we build. That's it.
We pull up your store with fresh eyes, mobile and desktop, and document what's bleeding revenue. Broken pages, friction at checkout, hidden upsell slots, performance hits, accessibility gaps.
Hypotheses backed by what the audit surfaced, not vibes. We design the variants, ship them on your store or via a test platform, measure for significance, and write the post-mortem.
Backup engineering for in-house teams. Landing pages, theme work, Liquid logic, app integration, performance fixes. We're the people you call when your team is heads-down on something else.
Four real findings from recent audits, anonymized. Each one is a screenshot away from being demonstrably true. This is the texture of what shows up in your inbox.
On a home-and-bedding store doing $80k a month, the cookie banner sat horizontally across the PDP and physically blocked the Add to Cart button until dismissed. Visitors who scrolled past without dismissing literally couldn't buy.
A fine-jewelry store had an entire "personalized" sub-section rendering as broken image icons. A Searchanise rule was pointing at expired asset paths after a recent theme update. The category was their highest-AOV.
A polished-looking custom-PC store with a Lighthouse mobile performance score of 32 (red zone). Combined with a configurator-driven purchase flow and a $2k+ AOV, every second of paint delay maps directly to abandoned builds.
On a 1,300-product fashion site, the persistent rewards widget on the right rail covered the upsell modules below the PDP. Customers had to actively close the widget to see suggested products.
We don't ask for a 30-minute intake before lifting a finger. The first thing we send is a finding, not a calendar link.
One line of context optional. We respond within 24 hours with a confirmation and an ETA.
60-second Loom plus written list. Mobile, desktop, and at least one PDP. Real findings, not a checklist.
Fix it yourself, hand it to your team, or hire us. We don't gatekeep the list behind a contract.
Fixes, tests, or builds. Hourly or per-project. Real estimates. No retainer unless you actually want one.
A short list of things we actively don't do. Worth checking against any agency you're considering.
The first thing we send is a real finding from your store. If we waste your time at that step, you walk away, no harm done.
Plenty of clients use us once and never again. Plenty come back monthly. We don't price for monthly to make the math work; we bill what the work actually costs.
We won't build you a metrics portal. We'll send you a clear "this changed, this didn't, here's what to do next" report after every test.
Every audit item has a screenshot, a URL, and a one-line repro. No "your funnel could be optimized." Either the bug is on tape, or we don't report it.
Background in web engineering and reverse-engineering. I've built browser-native game renderers, WebGL pipelines, and a lot of Shopify themes in between. The throughline is the same: read the actual thing, fix the actual thing.
If we work together, you'll see code commits and screen recordings, not slide decks. That's the whole deal.
